I have two children who are hearing impaired and they both wear hearing aids. But, for our friend Marc, hearing aids were no longer strong enough as his hearing deteriorated drastically over time. So this year he received a cochlear implant for one of his ears.He loves it! It enables him to hear his environment a lot better and clearer. We had some fun by putting a sticky note between his implant and processor which connect using magnets. Thanks to this modern technology he is able to enjoy the music on his ipod just like any other teenager. Thanks Marc for being such a great model!
